About Double Down Motorsports
Time Attack Race Team

Started by owner/driver Mike Bonanni in 2008, Double Down Motorsports is an automotive race team dedicated to professionalism, performance, and results. After a successfull 2007 time attack season in the Double Down 350Z, Bonanni decided to take it to the next level by forming Double Down Motorsports, LLC.

The name "Double Down Motorsports" origionates back to 2005 when Bonanni named his 350Z project "Project Double Down" as a reference to his home town of Las Vegas. The term "Double Down" is a gambling term and Bonanni found it fitting as his origional project plans were to up the 350Z's horsepower to double the stock horsepower. The project 350Z was later featured in the June 2006 issue of Modified Magazine in a full color feature article titled "Double Down 350Z." The name has stuck ever since. The Double Down 350Z has since been retired and sold, but the legacy now continues with the "Double Down 370Z."

The goal and purpose of Double Down Motorsports, LLC is to provide Bonanni, his team, and his sponsors with a legitimate, professional company dedicated to marketing and promoting its cars and drivers.
